President Trump to revoke Obama's order allowing anyone to use any bathroom they choose
On Feb. 22, a leak from work being done within the Trump administration shows that President Trump is planning on revoking Barack Obama’s Guidance Order which allowed anyone claiming a non-traditional gender to use any public bathroom they desired.
Focused within both the Departments of Education and Justice, the issuance of a guidance order to facilitate trans-gender lavatory choices has been a major issue for mainstream America, and the subject of lawsuits from parents afraid that their children may be in danger from sexual molestation.
‚ÄúThis interpretation has given rise to significant litigation,‚ÄĚ states the two-page draft, which indicates that the Education and Justice departments plan to issue it jointly. The draft says administrators, parents and students have ‚Äústruggled to understand and apply the statements of policy‚ÄĚ in the Obama-era guidance.
As a result, the departments ‚Äúhave decided to withdraw and rescind the above-referenced guidance documents in order to further consider the legal issues involved.‚ÄĚ
The letter makes clear that schools must protect all students and that the withdrawal of the guidance ‚Äúdoes not diminish the protections from bullying and harassment that are available to all students. Schools must ensure that transgender students, like all students, are able to learn in a safe environment.‚ÄĚ
A final version of the letter is slated to be issued Wednesday, according to a Republican operative with knowledge of the conversations within the Trump administration on the issue. The administration is expected to release the letter despite objections from Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, who did not want to rescind the guidance, the operative said. Officials with the Education and Justice departments did not immediately respond to requests for comment late Tuesday night. – Washington Post
Ever since the trans-gender movement became mainstream, and estimated 31 (New York) to 63 (Facebook) gender categories have emerged for a species that only has two real base types (male and female). ¬†And while alt-gender individuals only make up .6% of the population, they carry great weight among liberal politicians who are pandering for their votes and support. ¬†And the issue over transgender bathrooms even got so divisive that it led to the ouster of North Carolina’s governor during the last election.
It is one thing to shoulder the cost of making public facilities accessible to handicapped individuals, but it is quite another to pay the cost for changing all public bathrooms to accommodate a miniscule portion of the nation’s population. ¬†And it appears that President Trump is ready to bring down the hammer on this farsical drama before too many states have to find the money to change what has no business being changed.
