U.S. admits that Marijuana cures cancer but has no plans to legalize it

One of the most important reasons why Americans cannot trust most science today is that close to 70% of all technical researchers in this field are indentured to the government through either direct employment, or subsidized by Federal grants.  And as such, their analysis, documentation, and conclusions almost always coincide with a political agenda, even if the science itself is in opposition.

Which is why government hypocrisy in both Man-Made Global Warming and the drug war against marijuana is all about money and control, and has little to do with the truth, even when one of the their own research agencies acknowledges that pot is a natural killer of cancer cells without the need for surgery, chemotherapy, or expensive medical treatments.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse, a US federal government research institute whose mission includes “bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction,” has officially admitted that marijuana extracts can kill cancer cells.

The institute has revised a page on its website entitled ‚ÄúDrugFacts: Is Marijuana Medicine?‚ÄĚ citing a recent study conducted by a group of scientists at St. George‚Äôs University, London.

“Recent animal studies have shown that marijuana extracts may help kill certain cancer cells and reduce the size of others,”
the NIDA report stated, adding that evidence from “one cell culture study suggests that purified extracts from whole-plant marijuana can slow the growth of cancer cells from one of the most serious types of brain tumors.”

The study, published in the Molecular Cancer Therapeutics journal in November, discovered that cannabis helps “dramatically reduce” the growth of new brain cancer cells. – Russia Today

Over the past several years states have begun to counter Federal control over marijuana policies by voting to make it legal in both medical and recreational use of the compound.  And while the underlying reasons for the several decades long War on Drugs has been one built on profit and control for Washington, the science is now showing that marijuana is not only as effective as many Big Pharma synthetic drugs, but is cheaper and is far less addicting than proscribed ones such as oxycodone and vikatan.

Ancient civilizations knew that for every disease and illness in nature, nature also provided a means to counter it.  But as the world became enmeshed in the religion of science, and where that religion was co-opted by governments for their own purposes and agendas, nature was banned and made illegal so that corporations and big business could reap the benefits of mankind being sick.
